Refund & Cancellation Policy
What happens if you need to cancel or reschedule your consultation.

We want every client to have a great experience with Karma Speaks. This policy sets out your options if you need to change or cancel your consultation booking. Please read it carefully before booking.
1. Digital Services — No Refund Policy
All Karma Speaks services are delivered digitally and are personalised to your birth data. Because significant preparation time is invested before your session begins, we do not offer refunds once a consultation has been delivered or a written report has been dispatched.
This policy is consistent with Indian consumer law provisions for digital and personalised services, and with our Terms of Service, which you accept at the time of booking.
2. Cancellation Policy
The following rules apply if you need to cancel a confirmed booking:
- 48 hours or more before the session: You may cancel without charge. We will issue a full credit to your original payment method within 5–10 business days, or you may request a credit voucher for a future booking.
- Less than 48 hours before the session: Cancellation is not available. You may reschedule your session (see below), but the consultation fee is retained in full.
- After a written report is dispatched: No cancellation or refund is possible, regardless of notice given.
To cancel, email support@karmaspeaks.com with your booking reference (format: KS-2026-XXXXXX). Cancellations by phone or social media are not accepted.
3. Rescheduling
We understand life happens. Rescheduling is always available at no additional charge, subject to our availability:
- 48+ hours notice: Reschedule to any available slot — free of charge, unlimited times.
- Less than 48 hours notice: Rescheduling is available once per booking. A second last-minute reschedule may incur a ₹500 / $10 administration fee.
To reschedule, reply to your booking confirmation email or contact us at support@karmaspeaks.com with your preferred new date and time.
4. No-Show Policy
If you do not attend your scheduled session and do not contact us beforehand, it is considered a no-show. In this case:
- The full consultation fee is forfeited.
- No rescheduling rights are available.
- A new booking and payment will be required to book a future session.
If you experienced a genuine emergency (accident, hospitalisation), contact us within 24 hours with documentation and we will review your case.
5. Exceptional Circumstances
We review the following on a case-by-case basis:
- Serious medical emergency (client or immediate family member) with supporting documentation
- Bereavement of an immediate family member
- Major natural disaster or government-declared emergency preventing attendance
Contact us at support@karmaspeaks.com within 24 hours of the missed session. We aim to respond within 2 business days. Where we grant an exception, we typically offer a rescheduled session rather than a monetary refund.
6. Cancellation by Karma Speaks
In the rare event that we need to cancel your session (illness, technical failure, force majeure), we will notify you as early as possible and offer:
- A rescheduled session at a mutually agreed time, or
- A full refund to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
7. Payment Gateway Timelines
- Razorpay refunds: Typically 5–7 business days to your original payment method.
- PayPal refunds: Typically 3–5 business days to your PayPal balance or card.
Processing times are controlled by your bank or payment provider and may vary.
